Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: Locations are primarily in the USA Northeast area. The same set of standard processes are being used across all locations.) Customer (Not Relevant: The firm’s projects are for the development of internet technology applications. Project activities are no different for different customers.)
Size (Not Relevant: All projects follow the firm’s standard process with minor tailoring. Basic units size primarily range from about 6-40 persons. Therefore standard processes employed do not differ based on this size range.))
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All the projects have the same basic and similar structure with project manager/project lead, team members etc. Additionally, they all share the same OSSP (processes) implementation with no substantial tailoring. Consequently, the organizational structure does not cause significant variations in the performance of processes.)
