Location (Not Relevant: Location has no impact on process implementation because none of the processes are location-specific. Akira Standard Software Development methodology is followed.)
Customer (Not Relevant: As organization is providing services in similar domain and similar processes are applied. All customers are federal clients and have well-defined requirements and hence requirements based application development is carried out in all the projects.)
Size (Not Relevant: Size has no impact on process implementation because all the projects are of similar size, and Standard Software Development methodology is followed based on Akira processes. For project categorization, standard tailoring guidelines are followed which contain variation of organization’s standard processes.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All projects are under the same structure (Organizational Unit) called (Solutions Division). Within the projects, as well, the structure is similar containing program manager, project manager / project lead, team-members, etc.)
Type of Work: Two types of Software Development activity are carried out: (1) Development Projects (2) Maintenance Projects. Wherever required, Standard processes are tailored to prepare the project defined process. |
