Customer (Not Relevant: The e-Procurement QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different customer. So “CUSTOMER” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: The e-Procurement QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. So “SIZE” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Software Development Department of e-Procurement is undergoing appraisal which works on e-Tendering, e-Auctioning, Catalogue Management domains using Java & MS SQL technologies. However, QMS processes are same for these technologies. So ‘ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE’ factor is not considered for the project selection. Following functions / activities are carried out at organizational Level. 1. SEPG 2. SQAG 3. Business Analysts 4. Testers 5. System Admin (Purchase) 6. Training)
Type of Work: e-Procurement executes ‘Product Development’ and ‘Application Development’ type of projects. Both types of projects follow the same Software Development Life Cycle and same set of e-Procurement QMS processes. Since these are different type of work hence “TYPE OF WORK’ is considered for project selection. |
