Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is only Kochi location. No other location is considered. UVJ QMS processes are established at organizational level for Kochi Location, so “LOCATION” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Customer (Not Relevant: The UVJ QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different customer. So “CUSTOMER” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: The UVJ QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. So “SIZE” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Software Development Division of UVJ is undergoing appraisal which works on Life Science, Web application and Mobile application domains using various technologies like Microsoft .Net, LAMP (Web), iOS (mobile), Oracle, and PHP technologies etc. However, QMS processes are same for all technologies. So ‘ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE’ factor is not considered for the project selection. Following functions / activities are carried out at organizational Level. 1. SEPG 2. SQA 3. Training)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Development projects are considered in scope of appraisal. Same sets of processes are followed for all development projects. So ‘TYPE OF WORK’ factor is not considered for project selection.)
Life Cycle: Waterfall and Agile life cycle are followed in UVJ for Development projects. QMS processes are different for Waterfall and Agile projects. So ‘LIFE CYCLE’ factor is considered for project selection. |
