Customer (Not Relevant: These are general purpose products and not customer specific, a general purpose commercial product)
Size (Not Relevant: Although there are a variety of different sizes of projects they are all still working from a single tailored version of the organizational standard process.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All projects are in the same organization under single management)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Software Development, Hardware Integration and Support groups all work on releases of a general purpose product. The tailored version for the standard process includes all development disciplines without separating them out into individual tailored processes)
Current / Past Projects: Since the above sampling factors are not relevant for the organization, this one is created to distinguish the projects. Only current or recently completed projects will be included in the scope of this appraisal. |
