Customer (Not Relevant: All projects in scope are for the same type of customer (traffic management).)
Size (Not Relevant: Not relevant. The execution of the projects does not differ by size, as all projects are of approximatively the same size (200-300 KLOC).)
Organizational Structure: Organizational structure influences the way of working in projects. The organization is divided into 3 departments, each of them working on one product tpye. In fact this sampling factor could be called “Product type” as well. Each department develops a product with a well established set of functional and quality characteristics.
Type of Work (Not Relevant: The type of the work is in fact captured in the Organizational structure factor, because the organizational structure of the company was developed to have 3 departments ,one for each product type. Type of work and Organizational structure are therefore similar in the understanding of the company. Organizational structure was chosen.) |
