Sampling Factors:	Location (Not Relevant: All software development works are performed in Beijing) Customer (Not Relevant: All work are performed for the same type of customer) Size (Not Relevant: The size of the basic unit is similar (?15 FTEs) for all projects performed within the OU) Organizational Structure: All projects are performed within the three product lines-associated R&D divisions in the OU. They are BDM, EWCM and ESE Type of Work (Not Relevant: All projects are Software Development projects) Lifecyle: There are two kinds of lifecycle: Application Domain: Three are three application domains have been served by three product lines respectively.
Sampling Factor Values:	BDM (Organizational Structure): The R&D center to develop BDM product line WCM (Organizational Structure): The R&D center to develop EWCM product line. ESE (Organizational Structure): The R&D center to develop ESE product line SPDL (Lifecyle): Software Products Development lifecycle (SPDL). Applied by BDM and ESE product lines QRDL (Lifecyle): Quick Release Software Products Development lifecycle (QRDL). Applied by EWCM product line BDM (Application Domain): A application domain supported by BDM product line which serve for big data management, and providing efficient management and intelligent search service. EWCM (Application Domain): A application domain supported by EWCM product line which is an integrated content management on the basic of enterprise information platform, including Web content management, document management, digital asset management, image management, records management, collaboration management, etc. ESE (Application Domain): A application domain supported by ESE product line which serve to integrate various data within the enterprise and establish a concordant full-text indexing library to provide search services to the enterprise.
