| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: Org/OU’s main location is Indore, India. The common organizational PAL is used on all projects. Location does not impact any process differences or variations. Hence not relevant.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Processes are not specifically crafted or developed for specific Customers or based on Customers. A Single PAL is used as the minimum specification for all projects to follow. Hence not relevant.)
Size (Not Relevant: Typical project size can range from 4 to 20 FTE staff. This does NOT however change the processes used significantly nor influence any process related changes, although minor adaptations are done to tailor if at all, needed. Hence not a relevant sampling factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The defined OU does not have any further intricacies of complex organization structure or further separation which drives process differences. Hence not relevant.)
Type of Work: There are two major types of work, based on which processes are selected. PAL/QMS supports two distinct process sets based on the type of overall work. Software Development and Maintenance types. Hence relevant. |
