Location (Not Relevant: Organization has a defined set of standard processes to be followed independent of the location where projects are to be followed i.e. Pune and Gurgaon, Centralized DAG is responsible for its development and deployment across locations. Project execution and governance structure is consistent across locations and report to same senior management. Hence this was not considered as relevant sampling factor.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Projects in OU provides services to external customers. All these projects are executed from locations mentioned above hence able to follow defined standard processes. Projects that are managed by customer hence driven by customer processes are not part of this OU. Hence this was not considered as relevant sampling factor)
Size: As per organizational processes, projects are categorized based on sizing i.e. Large, Medium and Small. Hence this was identified as a critical factor.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Project managers and other participants follow the same standard process and report to same senior management. The organizational structure does not drive a different process to be followed.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: All projects in OU follow same develipment lifecycle hence was not considered as critical factor) |
