Size (Not Relevant: The factor is determined as not affected, because the OU controls the size of product in medium size for better project control.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The factor is determined as not affected because all projects are performed by SDC. There is no subsidiary department in SDC.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: The factor is determined as not affected, because only the software development projects are included in the appraisal.)
Project type: A) New Development. B) Upgrading.
Application domain: A) Medical. B) Archive management.
Sampling Factor Values: New Development (Project type): The projects develop new software system. The new development project will follow the standard processes of SDC. Upgrading (Project type): The projects upgrade or develop new modules basing on existed software system. The processes of RD, TS, PI and VER will differ.
Medical (Application domain): The projects develop Medical related software. The Medical projects will follow the standard processes of SDC.
Archive management (Application domain): The projects develop Archive management related system. The Archive management system is not as safety important as Medical system. But it deals with massive volume data. The technology difference might cause the processes difference. The processes of RD, TS, PI, Ver. And Val. might differ.
