Location (Not Relevant: Not Relevant. Although there are 2 locations (Foshan of Guangdon, Wuxi of Jiangsu), but they do not cause significant differences in processes execution.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Not Relevant. Currently there is only one customer for the 6 projects in OU, and it will not cause process differences if other customers are involved.)
Size: Relevant. The tailoring guideline will cause process differences for different sizes of projects (Large project for over 600 man day, Small project for less than 600)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Not Relevant. All 2 divisions and 1 department in OU follow the same processes.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Not Relevant. All projects are with the same type of work (software development).)
Life Cycle: Relevant. There are two types of life cycle used (Iteration, waterfall), which will cause differences such as task planning (including milestone and daily tasks) , baseline and product integration.
Product Lines: Relevant. Two product lines (self-developed, and Oracle-based) which will cause differences in engineering related processes. |
