Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is only Pune location)
Customer (Not Relevant: The QMS processes are established at organizational level and processes are not differentiating with customer.)
Size (Not Relevant: The QMS processes do not vary and not different for projects within OU.)

Following functions/activities are carried out at organizational Level. – Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) & Technology Cell – Software Quality Assurance (SQA) – Training (OT))
Type of Work: Software development – using Waterfall, Agile lifecycles and Service Delivery work-IS, BPO lifecycles are considered in scope of appraisal. QMS processes are different for development and services. Hence applicable for sampling.
Lifecycle: Development Projects are executed using Waterfall and Agile. Separate processes are defined for all lifecycles. Since sets of processes are different for waterfall and Agile this factor is considered for the sampling factor. Service Delivery Work is performed using Service Delivery-IS and BPO, life cycles. Since sets of processes are different for Service Delivery-IS, Service Delivery BPO, this factor is considered for the sampling factor. |
