Location (Not Relevant: Projects may be developed with teams based on the same site, or in a multi site distribution, based on the needs and expectations stated by the customer, however, processes are common in any of the situations)
Customer (Not Relevant: Aerospace and Defense customer show a similar use of development processes, based on their own development lifecycles.)
Size (Not Relevant: there is no difference in the way processes are implemented based on the size of the project, mainly due to the fact that only Operational Systems are considered in the sample)
Organizational Structure: There are two business units with independent management structures
Type of Work (Not Relevant: The scope of the OU only considers the development of Operational Systems)
Development paradigm: QPPOs are cross-company defined however; development paradigms influence significantly the way in which processes are adapted to projects, and consequently PPBs |
