- Sampling Summary:
(抽样汇总) -
Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is only Ahmedabad location. No other locations are applicable and hence not considered for this appraisal.)
Customer (Not Relevant: The QISMS processes are established at organizational level and processes are not differentiating with customer.)
Size (Not Relevant: The QISMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. Projects which are client managed are not in the scope of appraisal.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Software Development unit is undergoing appraisal. The organization worked on various technologies like .Net, Java, SharePoint & Mobile. However, QISMS processes are same for all technologies. So technology factor is not impacting for the project selection. Following functions / activities are carried out at organizational Level. 1. Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) 2. Process Quality Assurance (PQA) 3. Training (OT))
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Software development and Enhancement work is considered in scope of appraisal. Same processes are followed for both type of work so type of work is not applicable for sampling.)
Lifecycle: Projects follow either modified Iterative Incremental or Agile life cycle. QISMS processes are different for these lifecycles. So this factor is considered for project selection.Sampling Factor Values: 1 (Lifecycle): Iterative Incremental Lifecycle Projects
2 (Lifecycle): Agile Lifecycle ProjectsSubgroups: Iterative Incremental Lifecycle Projects: In this lifecycle model the project is broken down in multiple deliveries / milestones for the client to review and give his feedback where time frame of each delivery / milestone is based on project attributes (nature, size, span, client expectation, etc…).

Agile Lifecycle Projects: In this lifecycle model the project is split into multiple sprints which are time boxed events. Each sprint is time boxed, usually one week to four weeks. While sprint planning, based on priorities set by product owner, stories are shifted to spring backlog from product backlog. All scrum team members take part in activities like daily scrum meeting, sprint review, backlog grooming for next sprint items, planning poker for estimating sprints and sprint retrospective.
