Location (Not Relevant: Development Work: Out of seven projects, six are based at Hyderabad and one project which is managed from Bangalore has resources working from both the locations. All the projects follow the Agile Scrum Model as specified in the QMS. Sample includes projects from both locations. Service Work: All the five projects are based at Hyderabad.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Organization structure is based on customer types. Same is considered as part of organization structure.)
Size (Not Relevant: For development work, currently project classification is in terms of normal projects (effort more than 200 person days and duration more than 2 calendar months), small projects and staff augmentation projects. Small projects and Staff augmentation projects are excluded. Service work: Team size for service work is 4-22. Currently projects are not classified into size buckets.)
Organizational Structure: Organization has different business units within the OU, which is likely to have influence on the process and outcomes.
Type of Work: There are different types of work covering Development work and Services work being performed. Development work is in alignment with CMMI-Dev model and Services work is in alignment with CMMI-SVC model. |
