P2 (Medium size/complexity) (Size): P2 projects include Level of Effort or Services/People Placement projects. P2 projects with Length < 6=”” months=”” and/or=”” value=””>< $10k=”” may=”” downgrade=”” to=”” p1.=”” p2=”” projects=”” with=”” length=””> 1 year and/or Value > $50K may upgrade to P3, if it is determined that the size and/or value of the project constitutes a risk factor.
P3 (Large size/complexity) (Size): P3 projects include Software/Systems Engineering with multiple defined deliverables, Non-SW/SE with defined phases and multiple defined deliverables, and projects that need to be CMMI® – DEV compliant. P3 projects with Length < 6=”” months=”” and/or=”” value=””>< $10k=”” may=”” downgrade=”” to=”” p2,=”” if=”” there=”” are=”” no=”” additional=”” high=”” risk=””>
P1 (Small projects) (Size): P1 projects include One-time Purchase/ Procurements and VAR/Product Support. P1 projects with Length > 1 year and/or Value > $50K may upgrade to P2, if it is determined that the size and/or value of the project constitutes a risk factor. |
