Medium to Large (Size): Projects with effort >= 15 Man Months and duration >= 3 Months. Large projects have effort >= 75 Man Months or duration >= 6 months. Both Medium and Large projects use the same processes.
Development (Type of Work): Where the project work is mostly (if not all) development of significant features from scratch for the system
Enhancement (Type of Work): Projects where existing features of a base system are reused/ enhanced and the overall architecture of the system doesn’t undergo any major change.
