Location (Not Relevant: All AWL work is collocated at China Lake Naval Air Weapons station, and the location does not affect the performance of the organization”s standard processes.)
Customer (Not Relevant: The customer for AWL products and deliverables is the USN, and does not affect the performance of the organization”s standard processes.)
Size (Not Relevant: The size of the basic units (Blocks) is relatively consistent in terms of product requirements. Any planned variation from the standard processes would be documented by the Block using the standard process tailoring criteria and guidelines.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The structure of the AWL IPT is the standard NAVAIR structure which integrates command functions with NAVAIR competencies.)
Type of Work: There are two types of work: 1) full development, and 2) maintenance releases. However, in both situations, the standard product development processes are performed and tailored as needed when planning. |
