TPS Sustainment projects are designed to provide customers with continuous support of TPSs. They are typically funded on a yearly basis estimated from previous years support needs.

Block Cycle (BC) projects run concurrently and usually are scheduled from 12 to 18 months at a time. BC work follows the modified waterfall and prototype lifecycle models and includes planning, design, requirements, implementation, integration and test.

Continuous sustainment includes accepting Deficiency Reports (DRs) from TPS end users, investigating a DR and writing a Report of Findings (ROF), Execution, and Product Acceptance.
