Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: Atmira’s policy and main goal was to develop a common and homogeneous methodology for the whole company, independently of where they are based. That’s why we considered location as no relevant sampling factor.)
Customer (Not Relevant: All Atmira projects are developed from their offices so they are able to use their methodology. Sometimes the client ask to use theirs, but in this cases the SEPG Group (EPG in Atmira’s terminology) allows that only when it covers all the main points and if not the projects need to do a delta to cover with their methodology. That’s why we did not consider customer as a relevant sampling factor.)
Size (Not Relevant: The methodology does not distinguish size or has any tailoring for small or large projects. All projects need to perform the same activities independently of size. That is why size was not considered as a relevant factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Organizational structure is not a relevant factor, because all projects and processes are under the same Organizational Structure.)
Type of Work: The type of work is a sampling factor because the quality system describes different tools, methods and documentation to be used depending on the type of work (Development and Maintenance).
