Type of Work: This is the key distinguishing factor among the projects. There are 3 types of projects, such as “New Development”, “Enhancement & Upgrade”, and “Internal R&D” projects. All these works is done based on some customer service requests. The typical output of this work is enhanced and updated functions. This is the tailored version of the organizational standard engineering process.
Internal R&D (Type of Work): Projects do not have a contractual customer, so they target future market development. They are generally planned by proposals from the Product Delivery Support Team and their related support function teams. The typical output is a product prototype which is developed for future usage.
