Type of Work: There are 2 types of development works such as “New Development”, “Maintenance”. Differences between these two types are application of engineering and project management processes.
Sampling Factor Values: New Development (Type of Work): New system development project for specific customer. All new development projects form part of this subgroup and they follow the organizational standard set of processes. Maintenance (Type of Work): Projects that have completed their initial development activities then pass into a maintenance phase. All these projects are done based on some customer service requests. The typical output of this type of project is enhanced and updated function.
