Dev – Inc: This subgroup is responsible for software development projects using incremental life cycle model. The software is designed, implemented and tested incrementally until the completion. This permits gradual implementation of the software in small increments and reduces implementation risk. Completion of design for a module may result in change in baselined design and may also impact some already completed code, where in design document will be updated.

Maintenance scope includes resolving the issues faced by the client in the application which is running and enhancing the product features based on customer request for specific additional or modification of features.
