Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: Organization has a defined set of standard processes to be followed independent of the location where projects are to be followed i.e. Pune and Hyderabad, Centralized Process and Metrics team is responsible for its development and deployment across locations. Project execution and governance structure is consistent across locations and report to same senior management. Hence this was not considered as relevant sampling factor)
Customer: Several of the projects executed for a specific key account using customer specific tools, contracts, network and SLAs. Hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous between projects executed for this key single account as compared to process performance executed for all other customers.
Size (Not Relevant: Similar governance and team structure practiced in projects and does not vary depending on size. Hence size was not observed to be a critical factor.)
